Cattle Station/Farm hand

A privately owned and operated beef production business located in North Queensland. We emphasise high efficiency of labour and pride our selfs on a few highly skilled staff members capable of managing large numbers of cattle.

An individual who has prior experience in either welding (mig or stick), water maintenance (installing and fixing Polly pipe and water troughs), machinery operation (tractors, telehandlers, loaders, graders, tipper trucks, road train/cattle truck driving, 4-6decks) Willing to give opportunity to some one with good cattle skills and teach them the skills listed above if they do minimum of 1years work and are motivated to learn new skills.

You will be working on up to 3 different cattle stations. The most Northern property is 3.5 hours North West of Townsville near a little town named Mt. Surprise. The other two cattle stations are located 25km West of Richmond along the Flinders Hwy.

You will be part of a small skilled team of people who you can learn a lot from and develop your skills and knowledge. You will get to develop your skills in every aspect of station life, from maintenance to mustering and welding to water runs. Highly skilled and hard working employees will receive an above award remuneration package. Strong work ethic and able to work well on their own. Great communication skills and great lateral thinker, always able to find a solution to a challenge.
