The Banksia tree cafe and restaurant is a 55 seater brunch cafe in heart of Port Adelaide. Recently, we have had a lot of exposure through glamadelaide, helloSa and Broadsheet for being local, seasonal and sustainable. We are currently the only cafe in the world with a French toast that is made of a cinnamon donut then finished over a wood fire! We have fast become of the busiest and best cafes in the western suburbs.

A casual chef, working 15-20 hours per week (with the potential to go full time for the right applicant) under the guidance of the head or sous chef. Later in the year our sous will be moving on so the chance for further advancement is there

Work life balance is super important for me-I have a great head chef and fantastic venue manager but we need some help as they cant do everything! sure everything is running smooth. 3-4 days a week no more than 8hrs a shift and the opportunity to study (for free-I’ll pay for the right candidate) Great rate of pay and working with awesome suppliers and product. And I like to reward my team often
