Drum Tutor

Curlew Drums. A drum tuition company that teaches people of all ages and skillsets to play the drums.

A teacher who is proficient in drumming and drumming theory (specifically notation) who is available to teach during the week and on Saturdays, and is able to confidently teach up to grade 8. Must have a blue card and be good with people (and kids!)

You will most likely work from home if possible- we provide a high quality electronic drum kit which you can use to teach, as well as all teaching materials. Ideally you would be situated in the St Lucia, Taringa, Toowong, Indro, Kenmore area. We provide a weekly stipend towards rent. If we can’t figure this out, we may be able to organise for you to drive to the students’ homes- for which you would be paid extra.

Working for Curlew Drums enables you to develop your skills as a teacher and organiser, as well as helping numerous students achieve their goals on the drum kit. Your work would be fairly independent- as long as you teach well and get on well with the students and parents, then we encourage you to teach in your own style. You would enjoy a pay rise each year/half-year and earn more as we gain more students.
