Fire Technician

We currently have a unique opportunity for a Fire Service Technician to join our growing business that specialises in Inspection, Testing, Maintenance, Repairs of Fire Systems. Your role as a Fire Service Technician will see you undertaking a range of duties including but not limited to: •Maintain & Service Essential Fire Systems: Fire Detection & Evacuation Systems, Hydrant Systems, Hose Reels, Portable Fire Extinguishers & Blankets, Fire & Smoke Doors and Smoke Alarms. •Testing & Repairs •Installation •Fault Finding •Routine Inspections •Reporting details into Uptick •Complying with Australian Standards & WHS To be successful for this position you will need: •2 Years Fire Testing experience - desirable but not essential •Certificate II in Fire Protection Inspection and Testing (desirable but not essential) •Drivers License - Essential •Good knowledge of Australia Standard 1851 and BCA You should have a high attention to detail and positive attitude. You will have a passion for the industry and willingness to grow within our business. We are looking for a fast learner and worker who is organised and has good time management.
