Hi, we're...

We are a busy and growing heavy-vehicle workshop seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role suits a mechanic who can work independently, diagnose faults confidently, and take ownership of jobs from start to finish. You’ll be working on prime movers, rigid trucks, trailers, and commercial vehicles, carrying out repairs, servicing, and diagnostics to a high professional standard.

What we’re looking for...

A good diesel mechanic should be confident with: • Engines (repairs, injectors, turbo systems) • Gearboxes & diffs • Suspension, brakes & steering • Air systems (compressors, valves, leaks) • Electrical fault-finding • Trailer repairs (ABS/EBS, axles, suspensions) • DPF / EGR / AdBlue system understanding (big bonus)

Where you will work...

Mix of workshop-based and occasional on-site/breakdown work • Clean, safety-focused, no-nonsense setup • High job volume – steady work year-round • No dealership politics, no micromanagement

Why would you want to work for us...

If you know your trade, we trust you to do your job. No micromanagement, no pointless meetings — just real mechanical work and clear expectations.

The way to win us over is...

Turn up on time, every day – reliability matters more than talk • Show real experience, not just certificates • Work independently and take ownership of your jobs • Diagnose properly instead of guessing or parts swapping • Take pride in workmanship – do it once, do it right • Communicate clearly about faults, delays, or parts needed • Keep your work area clean and safe • Respect customers’ vehicles as if they were your own • Be honest if you don’t know something – we value honesty over ego • Have a long-term mindset, not just a short stop job
