Maintenance & Gardener Allrounder

Dusty Moose Ranch is an established accommodation and hospitality property located at Redwood, just minutes from Toowoomba. Our property provides accommodation to major employers and guests across the region and incorporates multiple accommodation buildings, cabins and tiny homes, extensive grounds and gardens, hospitality and event spaces, guest facilities and substantial property infrastructure. We take pride in maintaining a well-presented, welcoming property and are looking for the right person to become part of our established team as we continue to grow the Dusty Moose offering.

We’re seeking a Maintenance & Gardener All-Rounder who takes ownership of their work and has the practical ability to keep a large accommodation property maintained, safe and exceptionally well presented. Your day-to-day work will include maintaining lawns, gardens and landscaped areas; general repairs across accommodation and guest facilities; painting and minor building repairs; basic plumbing and carpentry; pressure cleaning; rubbish and waste management; maintaining outdoor areas, paths and property infrastructure; preventative maintenance; responding promptly to maintenance requests; identifying issues before they become problems; and working alongside contractors and trades when required. Experience in hotel, resort, accommodation, grounds or property maintenance would be highly regarded, as would trade experience. More importantly, we’re looking for someone genuinely capable, practical and comfortable working autonomously.

You’ll work across our accommodation precincts, cabins and tiny homes, guest facilities, gardens, extensive grounds, hospitality and entertainment areas and the wider property. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t walk past something that needs attention. You’re reliable, organised and hands-on; comfortable using tools and grounds equipment; able to prioritise your own workload; and just as willing to tidy a garden bed as you are to repair something in a guest room. A driver’s licence and reliable transport are essential. Previous resort, hotel, property, landscaping or maintenance experience will put you ahead, and relevant trade skills will be highly regarded.
