Outside School Hours Care Casual Educator

An outside school hours care service run by a Catholic school, providing care for children before and after school and during the school holidays

We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic casual OSHC educators to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently studying or interested in pursuing a career in Education and Care, Teaching, Youth Work, Community Services, or a related field. We are a young, energetic and fun team who love what we do. We value creativity, teamwork, laughter and building genuine relationships with the children and families in our school.

At our OSHC service based at St Columba's School in Bayswater WA. We work closely with the school community.

Because you are passionate about working with children You have a positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to get involved You are currently studying towards, or have completed, a relevant qualification You are reliable, have initiative, and a willingness to learn You are willing to support and uphold the Catholic ethos and values of St Columba's School

To have or be willing to obtain your: Working with Children Check National Police Clearance First Aid certified for child care National Child Safety and Mandatory Reporting training

You are interested in these key responsibilities: ▪️supporting the safety, well-being and supervision of children ▪️building positive and respectful relationships with children, families, school staff and fellow educators ▪️encouraging children's independence, confidence and sense of belonging ▪️creating engaging experiences that reflect children's interests and strengths ▪️contributing, ideas, observations, and reflections to support our program ▪️assisting with the preparation and serving of afternoon tea and other food experiences ▪️maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment through general cleaning and daily housekeeping tasks ▪️working collaboratively as part of professional and supportive team
