Qualified Motorcycle Mechanic

Beard Brothers Motorcycles, a family owned dealership based in Bathurst, NSW. We are a team of 9 staff, steered by owner Cameron Beard.

We are looking for a qualified motorcycle mechanic to join our young and dynamic workshop team. Within our workshop team we currently have two qualified mechanics (mid 20’s) and two apprentices. We also have two qualified mechanics who run our spare parts department. We are seeking another qualified mechanic to help meet the ever growing demand for our workshop services which form part of our busy dealership.

You’ll work on location at our purpose built workshop at 12 Littlebourne Street Kelso. Our dealership has been under its current owner since 2006, but moved to bigger premises in 2000. Bathurst is a great place to live and work! We are close enough to Sydney (2.5 hrs) to visit regularly if you wanted, but far enough to escape lengthy commutes and traffic.

You’d want to work for us because we are big enough to provide great variety and opportunity, but small enough to care and be flexible around your life and needs. We hold the franchises for Honda, Suzuki, Cam-Am, KTM and Gravely mowers. This means you get great exposure to the latest technology and training in our workshop that is always really busy. Our team are a great bunch of people who like to have a bit of fun while getting the job done. We love cake on birthdays and beers on a Friday arvo.

The way you’ll win us over is by holding the necessary qualifications and trade licence. You’ll be easy to get on with, a good team player and your attention to detail will be top notch. Ideally you’ll have some previous experience with one or more of our brands. An AUVIS examiner ticket and forklift licence would be a bonus too.
