We are extremely delighted to be partnering with our newest fast-casual dining client for the recruitment of Restaurant Manager for one of their locations based in Brisbane. Our client celebrates the rich heritage of Asian cuisine while reimagining it for the modern palate. It’s a place where culinary excellence is the only option. Our client has multiple locations throughout QLD and NSW. This role is based at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre with easy access to all forms of public transport. As the Restaurant Manager, you are ready to make a big impact as you will be responsible for taking charge of driving sales, nurturing and developing an energetic team, and maximising profits within the restaurant. More specifically, the responsibilities cover the following key accountabilities (full JD is available): People Enthusiast: Foster growth and development opportunities for all team members. Set and meet performance expectations, providing feedback and coaching. Ensure comprehensive training programs for all team members, including system training. Sales Champion: Elevate the brand’s reputation by ensuring exceptional food quality and adherence to recipe specifications, portioning, and presentation. Create memorable dining experiences by engaging with guests, introducing exciting new products, and promoting the loyalty program. Lead the team to achieve shift goals in quality, service, and cleanliness. Profit Maestro: Master the use of various software systems including Market Man, Deputy and more. Generate reports on sales, wages, COGS, and profit and loss statements. Collaborate with Assistant Restaurant Managers to optimise labour resources and shift coverage. Take charge of stock management, reducing wastage and leakage through thorough reporting and regular stock takes.

The ideal candidate: Must have proven experience as either an assistant manager who’s ready to take the next step or a current RM who’s ready to join a thriving brand (Fast-Casual or QSR experience). Excellent understanding of restaurant operations and systems. Be accountable and a strong leader with the ability to delegate. Not just be KPI driven, but also have the intuition to understand customer and staff needs at all times. Be customer centric in addition to experience in recruitment, training and developing team members. Have a collaborative approach to daily tasks. Ability to create an engaged team culture and influence change. Be a team captain and know how to manage staff (up to 5 staff per shift) with an average total 25 team members. Have solid stock management experience. 5-day rosters – be available on 1 day of weekend. Venues are open 7 days a week (10 am to 8 pm). RSA Certificate – Mandatory Must have full working rights in Australia!
